Jennifer Garcon, a member Archives for Black Lives, will discuss the group's community archiving work that has been her focus for the last few years. She will describe how the urgency of our current historical moment is changing both its focus and the intention of cultural memory work and will lead a discussion on how institutions can proactively leverage their resources to support the documentation and preservation of BIPOC histories in ways that foreground equity and self-determination.
